BIOGRAPHY

Jacob Lopez was born in Teaneck, New Jersey USA at Holy Name Hospital on March 28, 2012 . He has one younger brother, Liam Lopez from part of his dad Jonathan Lopez .

Jacob has dreamed of becoming a famous singer since he was two years old.  His interest in jazz began at around age 4 when his Dad played Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra.

The first time his dad noticed his singing talent was when dad would take him to setup for his events and Jacob would be fascinated with the microphone. The day when Lopez was 4 years old, and he heard him powerfully sing the phrase "FLY ME TO THE MOON" was when dad knew his boy had something special.

From the age of 4, Lopez began music classes but was not challenged enough. By the age of 6 he started music class at Elisa Girlando Studios and that's when his voice skyrocketed.

His first singing engagements were at his first music schools recital and with Elisa's school at the Sparta Christmas Market. Both of his voice teachers, Elisa & Erick, never stop believing that he will become a star.

Jacob grew up listening to his dad's collection of jazz  music and r&b artists, and credits his dad in encouraging his love for jazz music. "My dad is really my best friend growing up. He was the one who opened me up to a whole world of music that seemed to have been passed over by my generation. Although I like modern music, the first time my dad played me the old school music, something magical happened. The lyrics were so amazing, so real, the way a song should be for me. I want to be a singer and I knew that this is the music that I want to sing.
